At the time, SMJ played for the youth church before the main service began. His performance impressed respected producer Sunday Nweke, also known as Masterkraft.

That opportunity changed his career. Tim Godfrey later invited him to rehearsals with Xtreme Crew. Although SMJ felt nervous, he gave his best performance. His talent immediately stood out, and Tim Godfrey welcomed him into the team.

Joining Tim Godfrey and Xtreme Crew opened new doors. SMJ performed at major gospel concerts, worked on successful recordings, and built relationships with leading gospel artists.
